The Sea is Calm- Coco Rosie

I thought this song reflected well the transition into the pure will-less state of the sublime. The song is disturbing, yet lures one in regardless of the will's desire. Perhaps one could say the high voices (something beautifu- "yet the ear always follows the highest note" (Metaphysics 124)) against the darkness of the sounds and feeling of the song induce the feeling of the sublime.

"The feeling of the sublime is distinguished from that of the beautiful only by the addition, namely the exaltation beyond the known hostile relation of the contemplated object to the will in general." (The Artist and the Sublime, 143)
