Wagner's Götterdämmerung
I can understand here what Nietzsche means when he ironically says in reference to Wagner's décadence, "There is nothing more dangerous than a fine melody!...Let us never furnish enjoyment!" I can't find neither in this scene to save my life.
On the other hand, I much prefer this scene (something about the actors brings out the melody):
